The primary purpose of youth ministry is to call youth into lifelong discipleship; to identify the call and commitment to the family, church and the community; and to apply the teaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ through God’s word to their lives. This ministry will provide the proper background for strong, confident and educated Christian youth. The ministry seeks to:

• Integrate youth ministry with the overall ministry of SCB
• Reach out to youth of all ages who do not have a relationship with the Lord.
• Train, teach and prepare all youth for contributing roles in the life and the mission of SBC.
